General Overview
HumanKind believes that the lack of attention placed upon developing fundamental English skills during formative years is one of the largest catalysts for the socioeconomic disparity. By understanding a second language such as English, people - especially those of lower
socioeconomic status – will have the necessary linguistic tools to expand their horizons and chase after various novel social and career opportunities that will change their life. Utilising their strengths to best serve the public community, HumanKind aims to address Hong Kong’s pressing English language barrier in hopes of targeting the bigger picture which is the substantial socioeconomic divide.
Requirements
- Be free for volatile meeting schedules (will be set up in advance)
- Complete the work allocated (expected to be done by due date)
- Be free to go to local schools to teach (if in-person)
Roles and Responsibilities

HumanKind.Asia has partnerships with several major institutions, such as Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Bookazine, Sino GRoup, all of which have backed previous projects such as the most recent – the “Everything English” book drive in which HumanKind was able to raise 45,000 English books.
